Dental Implants

A replacement that behaves like the original.

A dental implant replaces the root of a missing tooth with a titanium post fixed into the jawbone, then restores the visible tooth on top of it. Unlike a bridge, it does not rely on the teeth beside it, and unlike a removable denture, it stays exactly where you put it.

Why patients choose it

Your neighbouring teeth stay untouched

A bridge requires shaping the healthy teeth on either side. An implant stands on its own.

The bone is preserved

When a tooth is lost, the jawbone under it begins to shrink. The implant acts as a root and keeps stimulating the bone.

It stays put

No adhesives, no movement while you speak or laugh. You clean it like a natural tooth.

How it works

  1. 1

    Planning

A 3D scan shows us bone volume and density, and exactly where the implant should sit.

  2. 2

    Placement

The titanium post is placed into the bone under local anaesthetic.

  3. 3

    Healing

The bone integrates with the implant over the following weeks. In many suitable cases a temporary tooth is fitted meanwhile.

  4. 4

    The final tooth

Once integration is confirmed, the permanent crown is fitted and matched to your other teeth.

Single Implant Replacement

A few upper teeth had been lost and one implant post was already in place, leaving a visible gap every time this patient spoke. Implants replaced the missing teeth one for one — the placement itself takes under ten minutes per tooth — and the crowns on top were matched to the teeth beside them.

Implants After Tooth Loss

Decay had taken most of the upper front teeth and left broken roots behind. The remaining roots were removed, implants were placed to carry the missing teeth, and the restoration on top rebuilt the front of the smile in one even shade.

Most patients with a missing tooth and healthy gums are. Bone volume is the main factor, and the 3D scan at your consultation answers it precisely.

Placement is done under local anaesthetic, so you should not feel pain during it. We go through what to expect afterwards before you commit to anything.
